I Will Bless You (Haggai 2:18-19)

⏱️ < 1 minute.

In this episode, we see a turning point in Haggai’s message. After calling the people to reflect on their past struggles, God now gives them a word of hope and restoration.

The Lord tells them to “consider from this day onward”—the day the foundation of the temple was laid. Though they had experienced lack and disappointment before, God now promises a new beginning. From this day forward, He declares that He will bless them.

It’s a beautiful reminder that when we realign our hearts with God’s purpose and put His work first, He turns seasons of barrenness into seasons of blessing.

“Consider now from this day and upward, from the four and twentieth day of the ninth month, even from the day that the foundation of the Lord’s temple was laid, consider it.
Is the seed yet in the barn? yea, as yet the vine, and the fig tree, and the pomegranate, and the olive tree, hath not brought forth: from this day will I bless you.”
— Haggai 2:18–19 (KJV)
