Consider Your Ways (Haggai 1:5-6)

⏱️ < 1 minute.

In this episode, God outlines the consequences of the children of Israel’s disobedience concerning the rebuilding of His temple.
We’re reminded that when we neglect God’s purposes, even our best efforts can feel empty. Through this, we learn a vital truth: our chief end is to glorify God and enjoy Him forever—and true satisfaction can’t be found in anything or anyone else but Christ.

Listen to how God describes the result of misplaced priorities:

‘Now then, the Lord of armies says this: “Consider your ways! You have sown much, only to harvest little; you eat, but there is not enough to be satisfied; you drink, but there is not enough to become drunk; you put on clothing, but there is not enough for anyone to get warm; and the one who earns, earns wages to put into a money bag with holes.”’
— Haggai 1:5–6 (NASB)
